Michel Murr Denies Report, Issues Clarification
MTV Chairman Michel El Murr issued the following statement:
“Media outlets affiliated with the duo Paula Yacoubian and Tahseen Khayat, as well as the so-called ‘lies platform’ owned by Michel Qanbour, have reported that I got into a physical altercation with someone at a dinner hosted by Dr. Nader Saab. The report is entirely false, as can be confirmed by the roughly 200 people who attended the dinner. Not a single photograph was taken, which in itself is telling. In fact, the outlets that published these false reports resorted to AI-generated images because they could not find a single real photo of the alleged incident, for the simple reason that it never happened.
What actually took place was a very brief verbal exchange stemming from a previous disagreement with one individual.
We are putting this clarification before the public and cautioning Lebanese citizens against relying on media outlets whose owners have a long record of corruption and have made a practice of fabricating stories to conceal their own troubled records, both public and personal, records known to us and to many others.”
