Will A Ministerial Task Force Be Formed To Ease The Burden Of Rising Living Costs?
National Social Security Fund Board Chairman, Beshara Al-Asmar called for the formation of a ministerial economic task force to monitor mounting living pressures, expedite a meeting of the Wage Index Committee and increase transportation allowances, following a meeting with President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace.
Asmar said Aoun had expressed support for the demands, adding that they were awaiting Prime Minister Nawaf Salam’s return from abroad to form the ministerial task force and begin taking tpractical measures o ease the growing burden on the Lebanese people.
