Autumn Begins With Rain Showers... Will September End On A Chilly Note?
Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean are expected to experience relatively unsettled autumn weather, with temperatures remaining around seasonal averages, according to the Meteorological Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with occasional dense fog over the mountains and little change in temperatures. Scattered showers are possible, particularly over the mountains, while winds will occasionally strengthen.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy with dense fog over the mountains. Temperatures will remain stable along the coast and dip slightly in the mountains and inland areas. Winds will occasionally strengthen.
Thursday: Partly cloudy skies will gradually become overcast, with dense fog developing over mid-elevation areas and reducing visibility. Temperatures will dip slightly, while clouds will thicken from the afternoon, with conditions becoming favorable for scattered drizzle.
Friday: Partly cloudy with fog over the mountains. Temperatures will change little along the coast and rise slightly in the mountains and inland.
Surface winds: Southwesterly, occasionally strong during the day and variable and light at night, ranging between 10 and 40 km/h.
Visibility: Good along the coast and moderate to poor at times over the mountains due to fog.
