Gunmen involved in Qab Elias clash arrested
The Lebanese Army said it has arrested three people who opened fire during an armed clash in the Qab Elias-Zahle area on September 21, following raids carried out in the area.
In a statement, the Army said the clash resulted in injuries and that its units seized a quantity of weapons and military ammunition during the raids.
The Army said efforts were continuing to arrest the remaining people involved.
The seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities, while an investigation into the incident has begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
