Riad Salameh Arrested
MTV sources reported that Lebanon's Central Criminal Investigation Department surrounded all entrances to Bhannes Hospital and arrested former Banque du Liban Governor Riad Salameh.
According to the sources, the department acted to execute a search-and-apprehension order issued against him by the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation.
The sources added that Salameh will undergo judicial questioning following his arrest.
