Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri commented on the explosions carried out by the Israeli occupation forces, which yesterday targeted the vicinity of Beaufort Castle and the towns of Arnoun, Kfar Tebnit, Yohmor al-Shaqif, and Haddatha, following previous attacks on various occupied southern Lebanese towns and villages, saying: The impact of these terrorist explosions, caused by 700 tons of explosives, and registering a magnitude of 3.8 on seismic monitors and were felt by Lebanese residents from the South to Mount Lebanon, all the way to the outskirts of Beirut, should awaken national and human consciences to what the Israeli machinery of destruction is perpetrating against humanity, heritage, culture, and infrastructure. Otherwise, humanity and its future are undoubtedly at risk.
Speaker Berri concluded: What happened is condemnable and must not be met with silence or surrender to its realities.
