Riad Salameh Back Behind Bars?
MTV sources reported that Prosecutor General at the Court of Cassation Judge Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj has instructed security forces to bring former Banque du Liban Governor Riad Salameh in for questioning.
The order also authorizes security forces to forcibly enter Salameh’s residence after he failed to open the door to them.
Meanwhile, the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Cassation is expected to conclude its investigation and refer the case file to the Public Prosecutor’s Office to bring charges against Salameh.
Salameh is expected to appear before the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Cassation today.
