Lebanese Army marks armed forces day at Tyre Barracks
The Lebanese Army held a ceremony at the Benoit Barakat military barracks in Tyre to mark Armed Forces Day.
The ceremony was presided over by Tyre military sector commander Brigadier General Antoine Rizkallah, representing Army Commander General Rodolph Haykal, and was attended by officers and soldiers.
The event opened with the national anthem and the raising of the Lebanese flag, followed by a military salute. After reviewing the assembled officers and troops, Rizkallah read the army commander’s Order of the Day.
