Salame, Pakistani Ambassador discuss cultural cooperation
Culture Minister Ghassan Salame met Pakistan’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, at the National Library in Beirut’s Sanayeh district to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the cultural field.
Athar said cultural ties between Lebanon and Pakistan were developing positively and that the meeting had explored ways to promote Lebanese culture in Pakistan and Pakistani culture in Lebanon.
He also briefed Salame on preparations for Pakistani cultural events planned in Beirut, Tripoli and other regions to coincide with Pakistan’s National Day on August 20.
