Interior Minister Hajjar holds security cooperation talks with European counterparts in Doha
Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Hajjar held a series of meetings in Doha on the sidelines of the Milipol Qatar 2026 international exhibition for homeland security and safety.
Hajjar met with Belgian Interior Minister Bernard Quintin, German Interior Ministry State Secretary Bernd Krösser, and Cypriot Justice and Public Order Minister Costas Fitiris, in the presence of Lebanese Ambassador to Qatar Bilal Kabalan and Central Internal Security Council Secretary Brigadier General Sami Nassif.
Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and security cooperation, as well as improving coordination mechanisms amid regional security challenges requiring closer international collaboration and concerted efforts.
The meetings also provided an opportunity to review the challenges currently facing Lebanon, with an emphasis on supporting Lebanese security institutions and strengthening their capabilities to maintain security and stability.
