State Security Arrests Two Lebanese Nationals
The General Directorate of State Security – Media, Guidance and Public Relations Department, issued the following statement:
As part of ongoing efforts to combat financial crimes, and acting on instructions from the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, the Mount Lebanon Regional Directorate of State Security arrested two Lebanese nationals, identified by the initials (J. M.) and (H. A.), on suspicion of involvement in money laundering.
Preliminary investigations revealed an interconnected network of financial relationships between several local and foreign companies, with (J. M.) managing the flow of funds between them.
The case file was referred to the Financial Crimes Unit to continue the investigations and take the necessary legal measures.
