MTV's website has learned that the Constitutional Council unanimously accepted President Joseph Aoun’s appeal and struck down Article 3 of the Banking Restructuring Law passed by Parliament, ruling that it had not been properly put to a vote. The council reinstated the corresponding provision of Law No. 23/2025, which refers to the Code of Money and Credit.
