Hamadeh urges implementation of Aoun’s Washington visit outcomes
MP Marwan Hamadeh welcomed what he described as US President Donald Trump’s strong respect for President Joseph Aoun and Lebanon, saying continued support for the Lebanese Army was key to securing a full Israeli withdrawal and consolidating the state’s authority over arms.
He also praised US support for investment and the possible resumption of direct flights to Lebanon, urging Aoun to move swiftly to implement the outcomes of the Washington visit, beginning with the pilot phase in the designated areas.
