Hashem: International efforts must be stepped up to stop Israeli aggression
Member of the Development and Liberation Bloc MP Qassem Hashem said during a protest held by residents of southern border areas outside ESCWA that the Israeli enemy’s continued aggression, which has spared neither stone nor tree, aims to erase the national memory of an area that was and remains the first line of defense for Lebanon’s existence.
He called for stepping up Lebanese efforts at all international levels to put an end to this brutality, which has gone beyond all resolutions and laws, including international humanitarian law.
Hashem stressed that in the face of Israeli crimes, the Lebanese voice must be raised loudly in international forums to curb Israeli aggression and confront it with all available documents and compelling evidence to condemn Israel and expose its practices and violations, which have gone beyond all description.
