Hajjar receives Kanaan and Brig. Gen. Fadi Kfoury
Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjar received Brig. Gen. Fadi Kfoury, head of security at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport, and was briefed on the airport’s security situation and the measures in place to regulate passenger movement and strengthen monitoring and screening procedures to ensure the highest levels of security and safety.
The meeting also addressed security arrangements related to René Mouawad Airport in Qlayaat and ongoing preparations ahead of the launch of operations there.
Hajjar also received MP Ibrahim Kanaan, head of Parliament’s Finance and Budget Committee. The meeting focused on the general situation in Lebanon, as well as development and public service-related issues.
