Karami: Lebanon’s future begins in Tripoli and the North
Head of the Al-Karama (Dignity) Movement, Faisal Karami welcomed the launch of a tender for the investment of the hotel at the Rashid Karami International Fair, praising the efforts of Economy Minister Amer Bsat, Chairman of Rachid Karami International Fair Hani Shaarani and the Fair’s team.
In a post on social media, Karami said: Those who read the economic map well know that Lebanon’s future begins in Tripoli and the North. The launch of the tender to invest in the hotel at the Rashid Karami International Fair is not an isolated project, but rather a step within a national revival plan that brings together the potential of the Fair, the port, Qlayaat Airport, the economic zone and the oil facilities, so that the North can become Lebanon’s gateway to Syria and the Arab world.
He added: We commend the efforts of Economy Minister Amer Bsat, Chairman of Rachid Karami International Fair Hani Shaarani, the team and the Fair’s Board of Directors. The era of keeping Tripoli outside the equation is over. Tripoli is not asking for a share of Lebanon’s economic future; it has the capacity to shape that future.
