Hezbollah: US Has Failed to Defeat Iran and Its Allies
Baalbek-Hermel bloc head MP Hussein Hajj Hassan said Lebanon and the axis of resistance were part of what he described as the strategic equation surrounding the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab, arguing that both waterways provide leverage against the United States and its allies.
Speaking at the opening of BAC Academy in Baalbek, Hajj Hassan said education and scientific advancement were central to what he called resistance and praised Iran’s scientific capabilities.
He also claimed that US military resources had been strained by the conflict with Iran and argued that efforts to defeat Iran and allied groups had failed. He said any eventual settlement with Washington should address Lebanon, Israeli withdrawal and a ceasefire.
The event also featured remarks highlighting the center’s educational programs and the role of science in strengthening Baalbek’s youth.
