Agriculture Ministry moves to support Tannourine apple marketing season
Tannourine Mayor Yasser Nehmeh, accompanied by a delegation of local mukhtars, met Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani as the apple marketing season approaches.
According to a statement by the visiting delegation, discussions focused on facilitating the marketing of Tannourine’s apple production through export traders.
Following the meeting, the Agriculture Ministry will send officials to Tannourine accompanied by a number of traders.
The municipality has invited apple growers to attend a meeting on Friday, September 25, at 1:00 pm. Afterward, traders will tour agricultural lands to inspect the apple crop and purchase available quantities.
