Aoun, Makki discuss south Lebanon, army support and digital transformation loan
President Joseph Aoun received Minister of State for Administrative Development Fadi Makki for talks on the latest developments, particularly the situation in South Lebanon and the hardships facing residents there.
Speaking after the meeting, Makki reaffirmed support for the Lebanese Army and its role in safeguarding security, stability, state sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He said discussions also focused on the need to accelerate parliamentary approval of the loan agreement allocated to Lebanon’s digital transformation program, allowing implementation to begin and public services to be further developed.
