Salam congratulates General Security on 81st anniversary
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam called General Security Director General Major General Hassan Choucair to congratulate him on the institution’s 81st anniversary.
Salam praised the General Security Directorate’s efforts to develop services, strengthen digital transformation, modernize its centers and enhance its human and technical capabilities.
He stressed that effective security work is reflected in protecting and serving everyone without discrimination, while fully respecting the law, rights, freedoms and human dignity.
Salam added that supporting state institutions and enabling them to perform their duties efficiently and transparently is the path toward a just and capable state, where security serves as a guarantee of the freedoms and rights of all citizens.
