Bassil, Saudi Ambassador discuss Lebanon, regional developments
Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Gebran Bassil received Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari on an introductory visit at the party’s headquarters.
According to a statement by the FPM Central Media Committee, discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region and current developments.
The meeting stressed the importance of Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting stability in Lebanon and contributing to efforts to consolidate the ceasefire in a manner that safeguards Lebanon’s security and sovereignty and promotes regional stability.
The two sides also discussed the longstanding relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia and ways to further develop and strengthen them at various levels, in the mutual interest of both countries and peoples.
