Israel: The Battel With Hezbollah Far From Over
Al Hadath, according to an Israeli military source, reported that the confrontation with Hezbollah is “not over yet,” while Israel continues to favor a political solution that would ultimately lead to the group’s disarmament.
The source said Israel hopes it will not have to expand its military operations deep into Lebanese territory, stressing that the main objective is to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its capabilities and restoring its ability to threaten communities in northern Israel.
According to the source, Israeli forces have yet to reach all of Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the Bint Jbeil area, with search operations for additional facilities still underway.
The Israeli military has so far uncovered what the source described as both above-ground and underground Hezbollah infrastructure in Bint Jbeil and surrounding areas.
