Photo: Rocket Shells Seized at the Syrian Border
The Lebanese Army said that one of its units arrested a Syrian national at the Lebanese-Syrian border in the town of Aiha, Rashaya, while he was attempting to smuggle a quantity of rocket-propelled munitions into Lebanon. The weapons were seized.
In a separate operation, another Army unit arrested 10 Syrians in the town of Shaath, Baalbek, over their alleged involvement in a dispute at a camp in the area.
The seized weapons were handed over to the relevant authorities, while investigations into the detainees were launched under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
