US Official Reveals Details on Operations in Pilot Areas
Axios, according to a US official, reported that the Lebanese Army will take responsibility for the pilot areas and clear them of Hezbollah weapons.
The official added that Washington is still negotiating with Israel and Lebanon over the party responsible for verifying that the areas are free of Hezbollah weapons.
He said that once the areas are confirmed to be free of Hezbollah weapons, the process will move to the second phase.
