Hot Days Ahead as Heatwave Sweeps Lebanon
The Meteorological Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation forecast partly cloudy weather on Wednesday, with temperatures rising above seasonal averages, particularly in inland areas and on higher elevations. Fog is expected to form over mid-altitude mountains during the evening.
Lebanon is being affected by a hot air mass originating from the Arabian Peninsula, leading to a rise in temperatures above their seasonal averages, accompanied by increased humidity levels. The combination of heat and humidity will intensify the feeling of high temperatures, especially along coastal areas. The hot spell is expected to continue until Friday, before gradually easing, with winds picking up at times reaching 50 km/h.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy, with fog over the mountains and rising temperatures. High humidity along the coast will increase the feeling of heat.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, with temperatures rising above seasonal averages inland and in mountainous areas. Fog will form over mid-altitude mountains in the evening.
Thursday: Partly cloudy, with temperatures remaining above seasonal averages inland and over mountains. Humidity will stay high along the coast and mid-altitude areas, increasing the feeling of heat. Winds will strengthen from the afternoon.
Friday: Partly cloudy to cloudy, with fog over the mountains. Temperatures will drop inland and over higher elevations, while slightly increasing along the coast. Humidity will decrease, and winds will become active, occasionally reaching 50 km/h, causing rougher sea conditions.
Temperatures are expected to range between 24 and 32°C along the coast, 19 and 32°C in mountainous areas, and 20 and 36°C inland.
