Rubio: Lebanon's File Is Separate From Iran's Issue
“U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who arrived in Abu Dhabi, affirmed that the Lebanon file is separate from the Iran file, and that the United States is dealing directly with the Lebanese government. He added that it is not possible to end hostilities in the region as long as Iran’s proxies are firing missiles.
He also noted that no country is allowed to impose fees or taxes on international waterways, and said he will seek to reassure Gulf allies regarding the U.S.–Iran understanding.”
