Armenian Catholic Patriarch voices support for Aoun’s efforts to strengthen state sovereignty
President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received Armenian Catholic Patriarch, Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian, who expressed appreciation for the President’s efforts to help Lebanon overcome its current challenges and reinforce state sovereignty across all Lebanese territory.
Patriarch Minassian voiced support for the positions adopted by Aoun, particularly regarding the ongoing negotiations in Washington, saying they safeguard the dignity of Lebanon and its people.
The meeting also addressed a number of ecclesiastical matters and broader national issues.
