Keserwan municipal leaders back Aoun’s state-building agenda
A delegation of municipal leaders headed by Elias Beaino affirmed from Baabda Palace its full support for the national course led by President Joseph Aoun, stressing that the success of the state-building project remains the key to restoring confidence in Lebanon’s institutions.
Beaino said the visit reflected the commitment of municipalities and local authorities to stand alongside the state and support efforts aimed at strengthening stability, the rule of law and state authority.
The delegation also discussed the challenges facing municipalities in Keserwan-Ftouh amid the country’s economic and financial crisis, while emphasizing that administrative decentralization is not only a development objective but also a pathway to modernizing public administration, improving services and enhancing transparency and accountability.
