Jumblatt meets Qatari PM, praises Doha’s support for Lebanon
Former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt met with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha, accompanied by Taymour Jumblatt and MP Hadi Aboul Hosn.
Discussions reportedly focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the wider region, as well as bilateral relations between Lebanon and Qatar.
Jumblatt commended Qatar’s role in helping reduce regional tensions and pursuing diplomatic solutions to ongoing crises. He also praised Doha’s continued support for Lebanon and its consistent backing of the country across various sectors and circumstances.
