Does Hezbollah Agree to Withdraw From South of the Litani River?
Al-Hadath sources reported that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri informed US Ambassador Michel Issa of the readiness of the “Shiite duo” for a comprehensive ceasefire.
The sources added that Hezbollah does not object to withdrawing from south of the Litani River under a “point-for-point” principle.
They also said that security arrangements could be implemented immediately after a ceasefire is established in Lebanon, and that Berri insists on a comprehensive ceasefire before launching any implementation process on the ground.
