Qatari-French Meeting: Lebanon’s Stability Is a Pillar of Regional Stability
Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, met with French President’s Envoy for Lebanon Jean-Yves Le Drian, with the two sides reviewing bilateral cooperation relations and ways to support and strengthen them. They also discussed the latest developments in Lebanon, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
Al Khulaifi reaffirmed Qatar’s steadfast support for the brotherly Lebanese people and their aspirations for development and prosperity, stressing that Lebanon’s stability is a key pillar of regional stability. He also underscored the need to respect the full sovereignty of the Lebanese Republic over its territory.
