Two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters that Iran-backed Hezbollah received $200 million from Tehran to help Lebanese people displaced by this year’s war with Israel.
The sources said Hezbollah received the money last month despite Washington tightening its economic pressure on Iran and the growing difficulty of transferring funds to Tehran’s Lebanese ally.
