Egypt’s newly appointed Ambassador to Lebanon Tamim Khallaf arrived on Wednesday at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport to present his credentials and assume his diplomatic duties in Lebanon.
The new Egyptian Ambassador was accorded an official diplomatic reception at the airport’s VIP lounge, where he was received by Lebanese Foreign Ministry representative Counselor Ziad Koussa, along with the ambassadors of Qatar, Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani; the United Arab Emirates, Salem Fahad Al Kaabi; Yemen, Abdullah Abdul Karim Al-Dais; Jordan, Walid Al-Hadid; Palestine, Mohammad Al-Asaad; and Sudan, Ahmed Hassan.
Also present were Egyptian Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Mahmoud Hamdi; Iraqi Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Nada Majoul; Algerian Embassy Foreign Affairs Officer Mohammad Titoum; and advisers at the Embassy of Oman, Salem Al-Barrak, and the Embassy of Tunisia, Hamdi bin Othman.
The Yemeni Ambassador welcomed the new Egyptian ambassador on behalf of the Arab ambassadors and chargé d’affaires accredited to Lebanon, wishing him success in his new diplomatic duties in Lebanon.
