Israeli Army Warns of Major Response After Striking Hezbollah Infrastructure
Israeli military spokesperson Ella Waweya said that “the Israeli military struck Hezbollah infrastructure in response to a booby-trapped drone launched toward our forces in the security zone.”
Writing on X, she said: “On Saturday, Hezbollah operatives launched a booby-trapped drone toward our forces operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon, with no injuries reported. In response, the Israeli military carried out airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in several areas of southern Lebanon. Among the targets struck were sites used by Hezbollah operatives to launch booby-trapped drones and anti-tank missiles at our forces, as well as other terrorist infrastructure.”
She added: “The Israeli military will continue working to eliminate immediate threats. Any use of force from Lebanese territory aimed at harming Israeli citizens or our forces will be met with a strong response, and we remain committed to the agreement between Israel and Lebanon.”
