Photo: Large quantity of drugs, weapons, and ammunition seized
The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement:
“On September 24, 2026, following a security surveillance operation, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the home of wanted individual (H.M.) in Haour Taala– Baalbek and arrested him. He is the leader of a gang involved in drug trafficking and is also wanted for theft, robbery and opening fire. A large quantity of drugs prepared for distribution, along with weapons and military ammunition, was seized in his possession.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation into the detainee was launched under the supervision of the competent judiciary.”
