Raggi meets Grand Chancellor of the Sovereign Order of Malta in New York
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, met with the Grand Chancellor of the Sovereign Order of Malta, Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo, at the Order’s headquarters in New York.
Minister Raggi thanked the Grand Chancellor for the Order’s longstanding support for Lebanon, particularly its assistance to southern Lebanon since the outbreak of the war, helping residents of affected villages remain on their land.
The Grand Chancellor, for his part, reaffirmed the Order’s readiness to provide all necessary support and briefed me on the new model healthcare center set to open soon in Zawtar al-Gharbiyah. He also expressed hope that similar centers could be established across southern Lebanon.
