Footage: Exceptional operational activity at Beirut Port
Beirut Port issued the following statement: In an exceptional operational scene reflecting the growing capabilities of Beirut Port and its role in maritime transport and trade, the port received three giant Mother Vessels in a single day, despite the exceptional circumstances facing the region.
The three vessels berthed at Berth 16 on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 are:
CMA CGM D’ARTAGNAN, 366 meters long
MSC SARA ELENA, 300 meters long
CMA CGM MOZART, 278 meters long
This scene demonstrates Beirut Port’s ability to continue operating at a high level of efficiency and to receive and handle large vessels, reflecting the continued development of its operational readiness in coordination and cooperation with CMA Beirut Terminal.
It also reflects the ongoing development process over the past several months, alongside expansion and modernization projects currently underway, as part of efforts to reinforce the port’s position as a major maritime gateway for Lebanon and the region, and strengthen its role as a regional logistics hub and a key driver of the national economy.
