Army Uncovers Drug Facility In Baalbek
The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: Following security monitoring and surveillance, an Army unit arrested two Lebanese nationals, identified by their initials as (A.M.) and (B.A.), in the town of Jamaliya, Baalbek. They were wanted under several arrest warrants for forming, along with others, an armed gang involved in armed robbery and theft, as well as impersonating security personnel. A military handgun was found in their possession.
Another Army unit raided a drug manufacturing facility in the town of Kineiseh, Baalbek, where it seized quantities of raw materials and equipment used in the manufacture of drugs.
The seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities, and an investigation into the two detainees was launched under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
