Agriculture Minister heads to Iraq to boost Lebanese apple exports
Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani is heading to Iraq for a 24-hour visit to discuss boosting Lebanese apple exports and facilitating access to the Iraqi market.
Hani is set to meet with his Iraqi counterpart and major importers of Lebanese agricultural products to discuss import requirements and strengthen ties between exporters and importers.
The visit will also address difficulties with financial transfers from Iraq to Lebanon and their impact on exporters’ payments.
