Photos: 14 Trucks Carrying Jordanian Aid Arrive in Lebanon
The Higher Relief Council announced that the 13th aid shipment overall and the 11th convoy as part of the relief campaign organized by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has arrived at the Masnaa border crossing. The convoy consists of 14 trucks carrying aid provided to Lebanon through the Higher Relief Council.
The convoy was received by Mohammed Al-Mahadin, Deputy Head of Mission at the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut, and Brigadier General Edmond Kaado, representing the Council’s Secretary General, Brigadier General Bassam Nabulsi, and heading a delegation.
Speaking on the occasion, Al-Mahadin said: “We meet again today at the Masnaa border crossing with our colleagues at the Lebanese Higher Relief Council to receive the 11th convoy internationally and the 13th overall since the start of the recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon.”
He noted that the convoy was carrying medical, humanitarian and relief supplies.
He added: “These efforts will continue in support of the sisterly Republic of Lebanon and the displaced. Standing by our brothers and sisters in Lebanon is a fundamental commitment for Jordan, and we renew our best wishes to you.”
For his part, Brigadier General Kaado said: “We are here today to receive an international aid shipment delivered through the land bridge between Lebanon and Jordan. It consists of 14 trucks loaded with relief supplies.”
