Berri leads a series of meetings, calls for plenary session on Sept. 15-16
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received former Prime Minister Najib Mikati, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh.
The discussion touched on the overall situation, the latest political and field developments, and national affairs.
Speaker Berri also received Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, with whom he discussed the general situation, particularly the financial one, as well as the latest political and field developments amid Israel’s continued attacks on villages and towns in the south.
Separately, Speaker Berri called for a parliamentary plenary session to question the government, scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 15 and 16.
