Army Chief reviews developments with EU Ambassador
Lebanese Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, received the European Union Ambassador, Sandra De Waele, accompanied by the Military Advisor to the EU Mission in Lebanon, Colonel Jan Žemlička, at his office in Yarze.
Discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to support the Army.
During the meeting, Ambassador De Waele commended the Army's efforts to safeguard Lebanon's stability and security, affirming the European Union's continued support for the military institution.
For his part, General Haykal expressed his appreciation for the European Union's ongoing initiatives to support the Army amidst current challenges.
