Salam discusses Tripoli cracked buildings' dossier with MP Nasser
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received MP Haidar Nasser at the Grand Serail, in the presence of the head of the Higher Relief Commission, Brigadier General Bassam Nabulsi. During the meeting, they discussed the dossier of cracked buildings in Tripoli, in addition to the general conditions in the northern city.
Following the meeting, MP Nasser said: We met with Premier Salam and discussed with him the dossier of structurally unsafe buildings in Tripoli and ways to put the matter on the right track, particularly as the Arab Fund will support a comprehensive survey to be carried out in a serious, scientific, and objective manner. This step could be followed by the establishment of a donations fund aimed at financing reinforcement and reconstruction works.
MP Nasser also indicated that he raised with the Premier the issue of infrastructure in Tripoli.
