Jaber-Souaid meeting focuses on financial and monetary conditions and reform steps
Finance Minister Yassine Jaber held a meeting at his ministry office with Lebanon’s Central Bank Governor Karim Souaid, in the presence of the Director General of Finance Georges Maaraoui and BDL’s Deputy Governor Makram Bou Nassar.
During the meeting, they reviewed the financial and monetary situation in light of the current circumstances.
The meeting also addressed the latest developments regarding the reform measures being worked on with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the related draft laws, in addition to the measures being taken by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank to preserve financial and monetary stability.
