MP Hassan Fadlallah said Israel has failed to comply with the ceasefire provisions outlined in the reported U.S.-Iran understanding and is attempting to expand its presence in South Lebanon toward the Ali Al-Taher hill overlooking Nabatieh and surrounding areas.
Fadlallah accused Israel of carrying out attacks in the Bekaa Valley and targeting civilians in the South, arguing that such actions aim to undermine the agreement, which he said includes Lebanon.
He maintained that the resistance is exercising its legitimate right to self-defense against what he described as an occupying force, adding that Iranian officials had conveyed that further negotiations depend on the implementation of a comprehensive ceasefire.
Fadlallah also called on the Lebanese authorities to reject any direct negotiations with Israel and to reassess their approach to the current talks in light of the continued hostilities.
