Agriculture, food security at heart of Hani’s Netherlands visit
Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani continued his official visit to the Netherlands, leading a Lebanese agricultural delegation aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and benefiting from Dutch expertise in agricultural innovation, smart farming and food security.
The delegation held meetings with the Netherlands Food Partnership and Greenport Aalsmeer to explore sustainable food systems, value-chain development, agricultural technology and export opportunities.
Hani stressed that Lebanon is working to build a modern, knowledge-based agricultural sector driven by innovation, sustainability and international partnerships. The delegation concluded the day in Wageningen, where further discussions are scheduled with leading research and academic institutions on scientific and technical cooperation.
