The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on three individuals and five entities linked to Hezbollah, “for obstructing peace.” Among them are Hezbollah official Mahmoud Qamati and former minister Suleiman Frangieh, due to his ties to Hezbollah.
The Treasury Department noted that the sanctions were imposed on individuals who collect funds for Hezbollah in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.
