MP Daou meets Aoun, urges ongoing state-led negotiations
Following talks with President Joseph Aoun, MP Mark Daou stressed the need to continue the negotiation process led by the Lebanese state and to secure the greatest possible national gains.
Daou said ongoing regional developments, particularly recent regional understandings and the reported U.S.-Iran agreement, have created a political opening that Lebanon should seize and invest in. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the diplomatic track to advance Lebanon’s national interests and support efforts aimed at stability and long-term solutions.
