Aoun, Saddi hold talks on regional power interconnection projects
President of the Republic Joseph Aoun met with Energy Minister Joe Saddi to review progress on key energy-sector projects.
The discussions focused on the current status of the planned electrical interconnection between Lebanon and Cyprus, a project aimed at strengthening regional energy cooperation and enhancing Lebanon’s electricity supply options.
The meeting also addressed the importance of reactivating oil transport links between Iraqand Lebanon, as part of broader efforts to bolster energy security and diversify sources of supply.
