Frangieh’s first response to the sanctions imposed on him
Head of the Marada Movement Sleiman Frangieh wrote on X:
“The U.S. sanctions do not concern us in any way, directly or indirectly, especially since the accusation against us is that we stand with one part of our country against a Zionist enemy that occupies our land and kills our people. We have been, and still are, in favor of peace but against surrender, and this action will not affect our position; rather, it only strengthens our conviction in it.”
